The Steering Committee consists of up to six (6) Chapter Officers who collectively Chair the Communications Committee, the Membership Committee, and Treasurer’s Committee. At any given time, no more than three (3) Steering Committee members shall be cisgender men nor from the same county; a full steering shall consist of three (3) officers from Nassau County and three (3) Officers from Suffolk County.
Working Group Chairs facilitate regular Working Group meetings and prepare the respective agendas as well as provide report backs at General Meetings on the organizing and progress of the Working Group’s activities and relative campaigns, projects, or coalition groups. Working Group Chairs shall assist in developing chapter literature and are expected to onboard new members to the Working Group with the assistance of the Membership Committee and assist campaign and projects leads with coordinating actions.
